Educational Teaching Assistant - Netherhall St James C of E (VC) I & N School
Grade 6, 32.5 hours term time plus 2 days
Fixed term 12 months to February 2027
Start date: February 2026
We are looking for someone to actively encourage and support pupils with an educational health care plan (EHCP) to participate in the life and activities of the school and access the national curriculum to the best of their ability.
The role involves providing support and guidance on a one to one basis or to teams of pupils in their core skills and curriculum needs as per school policies/practices. You should be able to demonstrate experience of working with children in a school environment and have the ability to assist the teacher in planning class activities. We are looking for someone to join our school office and provide an efficient, flexible and effective administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the school office and support the wider school community.
The role involves providing a friendly and professional reception service to parents, visitors and other members of the community. You should be able to demonstrate experience of administrative and business support duties and have experience of working with computer packages (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Access, Publisher, PowerPoint) This is a role that requires excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
